FAQ

What are your rates?

At the studio:

  • $165 for 60 minutes

At your home:

  • $250 for 60 minutes

Do you take insurance?

All visits with me are considered out-of-network. I can check your benefits and bill your insurance appropriately. I will provide a coded bill for all of those without out-of-network benefits.

How can I pay?

You can pay with credit cards, debit cards, checks or cash. You can pay with a health insurance savings account if you are coming in for physical therapy with a doctor’s prescription.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Yes, if you must cancel, you must do it 24-hours before your appointment. If not, you will be fully charged for the missed appointment.

Do I need a prescription?

New York State Law allows you to receive 10 sessions or 30 days without a prescription, whichever comes first. After this, you will need a prescription from your primary care doctor or any specialist.

Nevertheless, some insurance carriers require that you have a prescription in order to be reimbursed. Please check with your insurance company if you plan to submit claims.

What should I bring on my first visit?

Please bring lightweight shorts, and for women a tank top or a bra top, no matter what your issue is. I need to be able to see your whole body in order to work with you effectively. There is a changing room in the studio.

Also please bring a list of any medications you may be taking, written copies of any test results such as x-rays or MRI’s and a doctor’s prescription, if you have one.

Also have your intake form filled out (available on the Forms page). I prefer that it is filled out and emailed to me the day before your first appointment.

What time should I arrive for my first visit?

Please arrive at your appointed time.

Will you communicate with my doctor?

I am a firm believer of open communication. I will speak with your doctor, trainer, massage therapist, et al to make certain that we are all working towards your goals.

Do you have COVID-19 protocols.

Due to COVID-19, masks are required at all times during treatment.

I have been fully vaccinated and boostered, but I still get myself tested regularly for COVID-19. I request that my clients get tested regularly and get vaccinated and boosted. If you need a test-site or help getting a vaccination, please let me know.

My space is extremely well ventilated with windows open, fans and medical-grade filtration. I sanitize all surfaces and equipment between clients. Fresh linens are also used. Appointments after 11 may have my fully-vaccinated colleague inside her room with another vaccinated and masked client.
