Karen is truly a rare find. After years of weight-training wreaked havoc on my limbs and joints, I began working with Karen Senko. A few weeks into training with her, my flexibility, muscle tone, and body shape improved significantly. Not only is she friendly and down-to-earth, but she takes the time to explain how the exercises you do in-studio will benefit your body. Karen also gives me “homework” – stretches and movements to do on my own, so I can continue to look and feel better, while giving me the tools to be able to workout on my own.
I would recommend Karen for anyone looking to feel better, relieve pain, and to have a better understanding of their own body.Meredith Friedman, Senior Project Manager
Karen Senko is a perceptive and insightful physical therapist and trainer. While working with her I was able to stabilize and maintain chronic low back pain. The way I used my body changed; improving my dancing and creating a leaner silhouette. Karen is able to perceive patterns, isolate muscles that need to be strengthened and then reintegrate and assist in creating new patterns of movement. I highly recommend her!

Karen is amazing! I have a history of low back and disc issues as well as tendonitis and partially torn ligaments in my hips. Whenever I have problems, or my symptoms return, I see Karen. She alleviated my hip and back pain but also helped me to “retrain” my muscles to keep me from re-injuring my hip. She is incredibly knowledgeable and I trust her completely. Just a few sessions with her helps keep me out of the doctor’s office and back to my normal life and workouts.
She’s been a lifesaver! Thanks, Karen!Molly Lovell, Pilates Instructor
An 85-year old friend first suggested I try Pilates 5 years ago. I listened because she always stood tall, elegant, and regal! I found Karen, and I have been practicing with her since. While I have always worked out, Pilates improved core strength and expanded my mobility. I stand tall and grateful!

Karen Senko was my physical therapist, when I was recovering from hip replacement surgery. Her anatomical knowledge, therapeutic sensitivity and kindness were outstanding. She always seemed to know exactly what was needed to help my muscles improve their functioning, and she gave me confidence when I was discouraged. Today I am completely healed and very grateful to Karen for her expert help.

My back pain began almost 15 years ago. I had physical therapy and surgery and more physical therapy with little relief. A friend recommended Karen Senko.
She was very honest about what was going on with my back. She gave me exercises to make me feel better and helped me understand how to avoid the pain. I have felt better ever since. I know what to do when my back begins to do when my back begins to hurt. I am very grateful for Karen’s advice.Bob L., Financial Advisor
For close to ten years, Karen has been one of the people I trust most when it comes to overcoming chronic pain or persistent injury. From group classes to one-on-one sessions, I continue to be impressed not only with her insight regarding the mechanics of the human body, but with her razor sharp analysis of my own anatomy. At every visit, I really feel like Karen takes the time to understand me and my body, and crafts an individualized plan to help keep me moving.
